An X-shaped slot canyon east of Page with smaller groups and a short hike.
Why visit
Canyon X offers similar sculpted sandstone with noticeably fewer visitors than Upper and Lower. Some tours combine it with a second slot canyon in the same area.
What to expect
Plan for some walking on sand and a few steps back up out of the canyon. Morning tours tend to be cooler in summer.
